What is a meetup?

The meetup is an open skateboarding session to build confidence, progress your skills, and get encouragement from other women, trans, and non-binary skaters.

There is no set programming for these sessions. Plan on skating, making new friends, and having fun!

What should I bring to a meetup?

Bring your own skateboard, gear, and water!

Helmets are required at certain skateparks (Jamail Skatepark and North Houston Skatepark). Check the specific meetup details to be sure.

I am new to skateboarding, can I come to a meetup?

Yes! There are a few “low-traffic” spots in the park where beginners can get comfortable with pushing or riding around.

This is a great way to get exposed to skatepark flow and etiquette, as well.

Is Honey Skate Club just boards or any wheels?

We are a skateboarding crew and are just focused on skateboarding.

Do you offer skate lessons?

Honey Skate Club does not provide lessons.
